fixed in PC(second computer), but broke in third computer (I have no clue about that, it’s problem is different with PC)

how to fix:
found info in this file /tmp/grakn-queue.log
6379 already used

so, change the default port in ./services/redis/redis.conf
then done. all processes success.

BUT!!!
the queue can not stop by ./grakn server stop
stop it by kill them <ps -aux | grep grakn>

and in another PC, there is something wrong happened, and still no clue about how to start grakn

Hi,

You seem to be doing several things at once, it might be better to do one thing at a time as it’s easier for us to help you troubleshoot the problem.

You should be able to start Grakn on a machine by simply running ./grakn server start.

Can you do that on a single machine and let me know if it works? If not, please report the errors you are experiencing by following this post.

#6

OK, thanks very much,

I will report my error ASAP.

open the computer, run ./grakn server start, then first success, others failed.

something for your help

  • demo in doc maybe wrong
    by the way, in this web https://dev.grakn.ai/docs/java-library/core-api
    something maybe wrong in section named Loading Data, I am not sure.
    check this please
Entity john = person.addEntity();
Entity mary = person.addEntity();
  • that seems should like this:
Entity john = person.addEntity().attribute(johnName);
Entity mary = person.addEntity().attribute(maryName);
  • also, in section named Rule Core API, I have no clue about var(). (so do and(*,*) )
    what is that

  • last but not least, consider define wedding sub event; in gql
    which is right(sub or sup, both of them can used in java)

EntityType wedding = tx.putEntityType("wedding").sup(event);
EntityType wedding = tx.putEntityType("wedding").sub(event);

thanks again~~~~memeda~ :kissing_closed_eyes::
